A crítica da religião na teologia de Karl Barth

Resumen

Em contraste com vários teólogos que defenderam a religião contra inúmeros ataques realizados por filósofos modernos, Karl Barth criticou a religião a partir de uma perspectiva teológica. Desse modo, este artigo objetiva descrever o significado da crítica da religião na teologia de Barth, particularmente em suas obras A carta aos romanos e Church dogmatics. De maneira geral, a partir do ponto de vista da doutrina da justificação pela fé, a crítica barthiana da religião claramente envolve uma contraposição ao método teológico do protestantismo moderno, especificamente a teologia liberal, que adota um ponto de partida antropocêntrico ao invés de teocêntrico.
