Pastoral visitation: a church’s need

Abstract

This research’s goal was to identify the perspective of Adventist members on pastoral visitation. Questionnaires were sent to members of three Seventh-day Adventist churches in the State of São Paulo, one in São Paulo city and the two others in the cities of Capivari and Monte Mor. The results of the research indicate that the members value very much a visit by the pastor. However, they claim that it has being usually neglected or done in inadequate ways.
