Ethics and Religiosity in Edgar Morin

This article seeks to analyze the way in which religiosity is found in Edgar Morin's thought. It presents the hypothesis that there is a religious perspective in Edgar Morin’s thought, which is accessed through ethics. Thus, the religious in Morin needs a critical study, whose epistemology is based on the Complexity Theory, reconnecting the various knowledges, as proposed by Morin, where complexity can also consider the need and presence of a global and integral ethos, including the religious dimension of the human being. From the conception that every religion has an ethics, then, all religions can work for the integral growth of the human being in an ethical and complex way, as defended by Morin.
