A relação entre os Testamentos e o debate sobre o sensus plenior: uma abordagem adventista

Resumen

Este artículo se propone realizar una evaluación del debate en torno a la teoría del sensus plenior y sus repercusiones en la hermenéutica bíblica de la Iglesia Adventista del Séptimo Día (IASD). Para ello, se expondrá la historia del desarrollo de la teoría del sensus plenior, incluyendo la tensión entre teólogos en cuanto a definiciones y conceptos. También se describirá la posición de la hermenéutica adventista ante el problema del uso del AT en el NT, y se evaluarán las consecuencias del uso de la teoría del sensus plenior en la hermenéutica dentro de la perspectiva de la IASD. La investigación utilizará el método de revisión bibliográfica. Basándose en el relevamiento realizado por el artículo, es posible concluir que el adventismo necesita ser consciente de cómo el sensus plenior afecta su hermenéutica y sus presuposiciones, especialmente su visión respecto a la naturaleza de las Escrituras.
