Resumen

Los fariseos son descritos en el Nuevo Testamento en términos negativos debido a la discrepancia entre sus enseñanzas y su estilo de vida. Sin embargo, no todos los fariseos presentaban este problema, lo que parece ser apoyado por las Escrituras y fuentes judías. Por otra parte, la iglesia de Laodicea tiene características similares a los fariseos. Juan menciona aspectos negativos de los miembros de esta iglesia, aunque algunos obedecen el llamado al arrepentimiento y son considerados vencedores. Este estudio analiza los orígenes de los fariseos y la autoridad que ellos creían poseer para interpretar las escrituras, enfatizando sus creencias fundamentales. Además, se examinarán las principales características de Laodicea, considerando las similitudes entre esta iglesia y los fariseos.
