A historical survey about L. R. Conrad dissidence
Keywords:
Prophetic gift, Ludwig R. Conradi, Dissidents, Church IdentityAbstract
The crises from the Seventh-Day Adventist Church have been frequently retold.
The crises and dissidences involving personalities from the north-American
part of church tend to be more emphasized. Therefore, other groups from church also suffered attacks of dissidents. Proportionally to other events the apostasy of Ludwig Richard Conradi is historically remarkable in the scenario. Furthermore,
Conradi’s negative behavior against Ellen G. White’s ministry is particularly interesting for those who discuss her prophetical authority. This article aims to trace a brief historical narrative of Conradi’s dissidence and to identify the consequences of his apostasy on the development of the European SDA Church.
