A encarnação de Cristo: mistério e modelo da missão

As Escrituras do Antigo Testamento apontam para Cristo, e o Novo Testamento apresenta-o como seu personagem principal. Por essa razão, o propósito de uma teologia bíblica é articular a unidade do cânon bíblico centrado na pessoa de Jesus Cristo. Este artigo está dividido em três partes: 1) prenúncios da encarnação: princípios para a missão, onde são analisados alguns exemplos da interação do Cristo pé-encarnado com alguns personagens bíblicos, seu engajamento com a missão de salvar a humanidade caída, bem como a comissão que delega a alguns indivíduos; 2) tipos do Cristo pé-encarnado e sua missão. Nessa seção, analisaremos alguns exemplos de pessoas que “encarnaram” em sua vida características do Cristo encarnado; e 3) a encarnação no Novo Testamento e a Missão de Jesus, onde destacaremos dois aspectos importantes da atividade missionária de Cristo, isto é, serviço e discipulado.
