In quest for a diploma: the importance and efficacy of the Projeto Sonhando Alto
Keywords:
student canvassing, stipend, students, Unasp.Abstract
The work of canvassing (evangelism through the sales of religious literature), developed by the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Brazil, has traditionally helped a large number of university students to pay for their studies in the Adventist schools. The 'Sonhando Alto' project started in the year 2000 through the initiative of the Church in South America and is directed to the young people who would like to go to a university. The objective of this study is to evaluate the importance of this project and its efficacy in helping students to ingress the Adventist institutions of higher education. The research is limited to the deployment of this program in the state of Rio Grande do Sul and the ingress of these students in the Centro Universitário Adventista de São Paulo (Unasp), Campus Engenheiro Coelho (SP).Downloads
