The adventist medical missionary work: its biblical basis and its deployment as an evangelistic method by adventist laity

The medical missionary work, in the Adventist context, has been the subject of much controversy. The Polemics around it have led to its discredit, inhibiting its deployment and development. The present study aims to explore the relevance of the medical missionary work for nowadays, starting a survey of its usage as an evangelistic method in the Old and New Testaments, as well as in the Adventist context. Its relevance for the advance and the conclusion of the Adventist mission was also explored. The research concluded that the medical missionary work is more than only another evangelistic method, it rather constitute an essential tool for advancement and conclusion of the Adventist mission, besides beinfg a essential part of the Adventist message.
