Entre tradición, contextualización y misión: perspectivas del discipulado en tres expresiones del cristianismo

El presente ensayo analiza comparativamente la comprensión del discipulado en la Iglesia Católica, la Iglesia emergente y la Iglesia Adventista del Séptimo Día, consideradas como expresiones teológicas representativas del cristianismo contemporáneo. El estudio, de carácter descriptivo y comparativo, identifica convergencias como la centralidad de la relación con Cristo, la práctica de disciplinas espirituales y la dimensión misionera del discipulado. Asimismo, evidencia diferencias en los fundamentos doctrinales y en los modelos formativos. La tradición católica sitúa el discipulado en un marco sacramental y magisterial; el movimiento emergente enfatiza modelos relacionales y contextuales influenciados por el posmodernismo; y la Iglesia Adventista lo desarrolla a partir de la autoridad bíblica, la formación espiritual y la misión escatológica. El estudio señala que estos enfoques reflejan la diversidad del cristianismo contemporáneo y contribuyen al diálogo interdenominacional.
