This article discusses what Sodom's sinful behavior was that generated God's destructive act. For this, an exegetical historical-grammatical analysis was carried out. Thus, the work analyzes the narrative, pointing to evidence in the macro and microstructures, historical context, and the translation of the verb yadah' that qualify the sinful behavior of Sodom in Genesis 19. Based on the analyzes carried out, there is sufficient evidence to include homosexuality among the characteristics of Sodom's sinful behavior described in Genesis 19.
