Abstract

The word sin is used only in a limited sphere of human knowledge such as religion or theology and related disciplines; simply being ignored or omitted in other areas of scientific knowledge or speculative science called human. Moreover, the idea of sin is diffuse or nonexistent in some major religions that emerged through the ages. Several scholars of God`s Word agree in the possibility of emitting concepts of sin based on logical propositions that would form a rational set, which would be possible to reach a specific definition. There are actually two systems that enable two-way or face the problem: the first, to acknowledge the significance of restricted or lexical biblical terms that appear in the original languages, Hebrew and Greek, and second, through the semantic meaning or interpretation that is given the word in question.
