Purificação no Céu? Uma breve análise de interpretações de Daniel 8:14 e Hebreus 9:23

Alguns comentaristas têm interpretado Daniel 8:14 e/ou Hebreus 9:23 como referências a uma purificação ocorrendo no céu. Muitos estudiosos, todavia, não concordam com esta perspectiva. Além de razões exegéticas, um motivo para tal posição está na dificuldade em conceber uma purificação acontecendo no céu, afinal, purificação pressupõe contaminação e impureza. O artigo aborda essa dificuldade e apresenta as respostas dadas por estudiosos de Daniel 8:14 e Hebreus 9:23. Nessa abordagem, este artigo inclui interpretações dos pioneiros adventistas sobre Daniel 8:14 e de comentaristas contemporâneos acerca de Hebreus 9:23.
