Resumo

Muito se fala sobre os 144 mil, o misterioso grupo introduzido no capítulo 7 de Apocalipse. As especulações e teorias sobre esse grupo têm fascinado os estudiosos da Bíblia através dos séculos. Sem se deter muito em todas as várias teorias, este artigo resume as teorias mais conhecidas, aglutinando-as em 4 grandes grupos para então introduzir quais características deste grupo são autoevidentes no texto Bíblico e a relação que elas têm com a Igreja hoje, vivendo nos momentos finais do tempo do fim.
