The Gospel that Relieves: A brief History of the Adventist Social Assistance in Brazil

The goal of the present study is to present a global vision of the development of the Adventist social assistance in Brazil, as well as to identify the majors activities that took place in such history. The analysis was taken under two aspect: (1) the social activities promoted by the Adventist organization; and (2) the effort of the local congregations in implementing such activities.
