A study on the knowledge level of the adventist youth concerning the prophetic themes of daniel and revelation
Keywords:
prophecies, knowledge, youth.Abstract
The goal of this research is to verify the level of knowledge of the prophecies of Daniel and Revelation among Adventist youth, and to suggest strategies to improve it. This study was built upon a field investigation among Adventist young people of some churches in the State of São Paulo, besides the youth members of the Adventist churches of the Centro Universitário Adventista de São Paulo, Campus Engenheiro Coelho (SP), and young people from the Faculdade Adventista de Minas Gerais, in Lavras (MG). It was verified that the general level of knowledge is rather low, and that these prophetic themes are seldom dealt with by local church leaders, and there is a lack of adequate material on the subject.
