Abstract
Objective: This article aims to present and analyze the health promotion strategies implemented by the Paraná Adventist College (FAP), emphasizing the integration of health and education for holistic well-being in academic and community settings.
Method: A qualitative exploratory-descriptive approach was used, based on documentary analysis of the initiatives developed by FAP since 2010. Academic and community extension projects were examined, grounded in theories such as Franklian Anthropology and logotherapy, and focused on promoting physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
Results: The developed programs demonstrated significant positive impacts on the academic community and the local population. The main outcomes include strengthened students' mental health, increased awareness of self-care, and improved quality of life for participants.
Conclusion: FAP’s health promotion actions reinforce the importance of integrating public health practices into higher education. The interdisciplinary approach adopted by the institution serves as an effective model for developing sustainable health promotion strategies, which can be replicated in other academic institutions.
