Abstract

Objective: This article aims to describe the health promotion actions developed by the Amazonia Adventist College (FAAMA), analyzing their impact on the academic and community environment.

Method: An analysis was conducted on initiatives promoted by various FAAMA departments, including health research, health fairs, community interventions, psychological and psychopedagogical support for students, and health promotion courses. Data were collected from institutional records and activities carried out between 2020 and 2023.

Results: FAAMA's efforts have led to the growth of health research, the expansion of community services, and the implementation of health promotion actions within the university environment. There was a significant increase in scientific production, the reach of health fairs, and student participation in psychological and educational support services.

Conclusion: FAAMA has established itself as a health-promoting institution, demonstrating the importance of university engagement in fostering healthy habits and training professionals to tackle contemporary public health challenges. The impact of these initiatives highlights the relevance of health promotion strategies in higher education.
